Welcome to Day 3 of the Beginners Program! Today, Mariya is talking about the Third Eye, which is very important in Kundalini Yoga practice. We usually practice Kundalini Yoga with our eyes closed, unless it is specified otherwise. Keeping the eyes closed while practising encourages an inner focus and deepens your practice. When no specific eye-focus is given, we close our eyes and focus on the Third eye, which is at the center of the forehead a little above the eyebrows. This gaze stimulates the pituitary gland, strengthening intuition.
