MORNING HYDRATION DRINK by Shanna Casey

Ever wake up and eat before drinking water? Do you feel groggy afterwards? Chances are dehydration plays a role. Purity of water, along with healthy mineral content, is vital to helping all the systems of the body function optimally. Hopefully, you have access to a clean water source. If not, you may wish to consider investing in an effective filter. Although this helps to remove impurities and heavy metals, the mineral content is typically not enough to truly hydrate your cells. You would have to drink bathtub loads of water to get the amount of minerals the body needs.

I have found that the most satisfying drink to enhance clarity and hydration is what I call the Morning Hydration Drink. Making a gallon at a time, or half your weight in ounces, is a superb option to help you stay hydrated throughout the day.

MORNING HYDRATION DRINK

8 oz pure, filtered or spring water (warm or room temperature)
1/4-1/2 squeezed lemon/lime or 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)
1 tsp honey, maple syrup, or stevia (optional)

May you feel radiant!
