Amrit Singh discovers Hatha Yoga in 1984, and it reveals the world of Eastern philosophy for him. Several years later he starts practicing shiatsu and exploring the connection between body, mind and spirit. He continues to deepen his understanding of Eastern philosophy by practicing different types of yoga and studying traditional Chinese Medicine. He also uses Karam Kriya (Numerology) to gain a different perspective to life and its hidden intertwinements.
A long time student of Shiv Charan Singh, Amrit Singh becomes a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher himself in 1996. Since 2001 he has established himself as a respected yoga teacher trainer and has traveled around Europe to share his rich experience and knowledge of Eastern transformational practices. His classes reflect his deep understanding of the way human body works.
Amrit Sigh uses his rich experience in the holistic health field, acupuncture and Chinese herbal treatments to help people not only treat their problems, but to seek the reasons behind them. The connection between the physical and psychological worlds is in the centre of his approach towards teaching yoga.
Recently Amrit Singh has turned his attention to the relationship between prosperity, working life, health and relationships. In our modern society, overstressed about money and career prospects, sometimes it is hard to find the hidden reasons behind our everyday problems. This gray area becomes an inspiration and research field for Amrit Singh’s resent classes and writings.
